I didn't know this. I think I never saw the US version of Red Dwarf and as it seems it's a weak version of the original. I'm glad they decided not to broadcast it here in the comedy re-runs.

Thank god it never made it past the pilot. From what I saw of it it reminded me of a grown up version of Saved by the Bell heh. Can't believe all those 14 American writers that was the best they could come up with.
