I'm head chef, nutritionist, events co-ordinator, sports organiser, wardrobe manager, domestic engineer, chauffeur, problem solver, lost property officer, gardener and teacher. My boss is 2 1/2. The government pays me ยฃ70 a month.
Oh and I'm also a business information researcher for an executive recruitment agency four mornings a week, and they pay me slightly more but it's not as much fun.
hence the name suburbanmum
Darn, did I give it away? I was trying to be incognito.
When I started reading it I was like "Holy shit, that's a lot of stuff"
Student.
As long as I attend to at least 75% of my scheduled classes I get roughly 150 US$ on a montly basis from the government.
All hail communism!
I get $AU400 a fortnight (or 'two week period' in CJ's dialect) from the same source. Unless the Aussie dollar is worth less than 20 US cents at the moment (which considering there was a practically unmissable panic the time it slipped below 50c a few years ago, I think is pretty unlikely), my tax-payers'-money handout beats yours.
$1 AU equals about $.82 US right now. Hmmm, I may need to exchange all that Aussie money my relatives have sent me for birthdays over the years...back in 2001 when I went there it was something like $.50.
...I think I`m giving you people to much personal info <.<
I`m a paperboy, Assistant system administrator in training (nice long title no?) And then there's intensive training cause according to my trainer I could be a proffesional swordsman XD
I don't think we've had an official "job" thread yet, so here it is.
I work for a company that provides wireless internet access in hotels, coffee shops, and the like. I work in the technical support dept. as one of the shift supervisors.
I spend most of my days handling higher-level support issues, ordering replacement equipment, and fielding questions from the lower level techs on how to solve specific issues. Obviously, I have to supervise as well, and make sure things are getting taken care of in a timely manner.
I also get to deal with pissed off property managers, which is the downside to the equation, but I have fun at work more often than not. Most days, I've got plenty of time for GL and creeping people out with my motivational posters, Stephanie picture gallery, and dolphin sex stories. Oh, and making Irish jokes with the OTHER Irish guy named Matt LOL.
So, what do YOU do for a living?
I work at the same place, but I'm second level and he's a supervisor.. I do pretty much the same thing, except i don't get shit all over when things go wrong and i'm not held responsible for the people who are absolute ****tards..
I also enjoy laughing at him and his position, and the fact that he was suckered into doing it.
