ya. it's a good thing. but it can be really hard. i mean, i see a lot of wonderful things like the birth of new kittens and puppies, but i also see a lot of crap and how cruel people can be to animals.

it's hard not to fall in love with all the precious little animals and take them all home.

You work at a shelter? That's neat, I've considered doing that.

I would not be able to work in a shelter. I would be so upset and just want to take all of the animals home with me. The newspaper always will print a big article with a whole bunch on pictures of the dogs and cats that are at the humane society and I always makes me cry. And I dont mean tears, I mean openly sobbing.

then, the next week they will talk about all of the animals that got adopted and I will cry all over again.
