It's not cheating per se, but it's not meant to happen ;)
I have been finishing up a legit 151/151 pokemon run on my Yellow version.
Going through blue now to catch a few of the blue exclusive ones to xfer them over.
For fun I am using my Venusaur and only my Venusaur. Have a fainted Pidgey and a fainted Magikarp as my HM slaves though.Like Toy SoldiersNote
