Warrior Within was pretty good.
Sands of Time was a helluva lot better, though.
I'm halfway through Two Thrones at the mo, after putting it off for way too long, but I just can't seem to get into it.

The style and atmosphere of SoT were better, but WW had better movement and camera controls. TTT is my favorite game of the series, though.

edit: also, too fscking much backtracking in WW. It was nice seeing each location both new and worn down by time, but some locations just got spammed.

You're right about SoT and WW, but I think Sands also had a better plotline.
I do think that if I started playing T2T after WW that I'd like it more, but because I left it so long, I just can't get into it at all. :?
Plus it started with that "Remember what happened in the last game? Well it didn't." thing, which I thought was kind of a total cop-out.

Actually, there's an alternate ending to WW if you get all the health powerups. that hidden ending is the true canon ending that the sequel follows on.
