Definitely for me, the best of the top five actors in the world. Not only because he can do comedy and make you laugh a lot (as he has shown on SNL) but as a dramatic actor he's even better, as well as being an excellent producer ("From the Earth to the Moon", for instance, among many other TV series and movies) but also he's an excellent director.
I still think that the last ten minutes of "Captain Phillips" have been (so far) the best expression of acting that I have seen someone does, both in the large screen as well as the small one, to the point of deeply touching professionals in rescue division of US Navy. That deserved an Oscar.
Undoubtedly, he is a very complete package for the showbiz (no matter as you look at it).Comment
