I accidentally came across this while looking for the Bing Bang at Jango's live performance video. It was posted two years ago and I'd never seen it before. The quality is atrocious, but it's not every day you get new Julianna content.

It was one of the videos that was recorded by Jon who was at this LazyTown Live show. He posted that on Facebook in 2010. The quality of the original is much better though than this copy.

There will always be new ones. I'm proof of that. A generation late to the party.

I think it will be harder and harder to find vocal Stephanie fans. There's a sense you're always being watched online. Unlike 2006, people are used to using social media with their real names and connected to everyone they know in real life. A cohort of young adults has grown up with their school networks monitored by automated systems that scan for self-harm or dangerous tenancies and (sometimes erroneously) alert authorities who tip off police. Dark jokes on SnapChat get hoovered up by authorities and, in our liability obsessed culture, treated as though real so that, in the one in a million chance that something happens, they can say they did everything they could.

Most people don't know the first thing about how their technology works, or what information they're sharing with whom at any given time. Many people I know have given up caring: "They already know everything about me." In that environment, the naive discussions that happened about Stephanie here and on other websites could hardly exist today. In 2006 the internet was live and let live; today people realize that posts they make could haunt them in 20 years or ruin a future political career. It's not worth talking about stuff that could be misinterpreted.
