Re: Lazytown AXED by the BBC

We need to show our support of LTE. I swear it will work if they want us to do it.

I've done a lot of social activism in my life and I know that if we do it in a professional, respectful, and polite manner, it will help - but only if they want us to do it!

Maybe we should set up a petition whilst sorting out what other action needs to be taken.

        Answer from Suzanne:

        Hi Ana

At the moment I'd be really happy if you wouldn't publish anything about what has been in the Sun newspapers. We're addressing the situation at the moment and will issue a statement shortly.

        Many thanks
        Suzanne

I guess we just need to hang on for now and see what develops. :?

Re: SOS - SAVE OUR SHOW!

What can save LTE is showing that they can make money in the future, using a future cash flow-analysis, if not positive,
it will help LTEs debt-communication if the loss can be cut 30% or more. There are other options too.
It was stated LTE have unprofessional management, and I'm sure the dudes at the finance division can tell,
only by looking at the reports first page.

Monthly board meetings with few external members and planning is everything. And do not hesitate throwing members
for mistrust for less contribution. Everybody must speech and criticise. And some will go home with hard feelings.

I'm not going to get too concerned since they still need to go to court and get this settled.
Depends on what their contracts said and everything, but I don't think they will be required to pay all the money all at once.
Could just be optimism getting the best of me though. ****. ****. ****. ****.
Jesus Christ, this is serious, and just ast hey launched the episodes on DVD dibbed in rom over here...
I agree with Stinge, hopefully the judge will rule in theyr favor, and not in the favor of the greedy banker pigs.

                          Re: Lazytown in trouble...

I bet the people demanding this morning are people who lost their money in Icelandic banks and desperately need money, so they suddenly want their money back from LazyTown despite agreeing to some money plan that takes a few years. Now we know Magnus never will sign anything about money because only a fool puts his idea before his family, so he probably can't prove that they agreed to it.

Nick aren't exactly helping them pay of money owned, it's like Nick wanted them to fail... stopping importing merchandise into the USA because they wanted to bring out more Dora and Diego stuff. But I hope that LT are making loads of money in the South American countries, where it is really popular. That money should be enough to pay off some money owed.

Yo LazyTown Entertainment, Imma let you finish, but Fight Club has one of the best financial meltdowns of all time.

The £15 million can be short-term or long-term loans. For all we know, LTE could have more than £25 million in debt. Think it's better LTE dies rather than running a show with grown up Stephanie anyway. The £15 million debt is 50% off total production costs, and it took them 5 years and 100 channels to pay what is paid off today. On average every channel have paid about £30 000 for the entire show - airing season one and two. Merchandise ain't worth anything. Should have skipped the LT-extras and provided that as Wii-game with toon-figures instead. LTE will die unless they have numbers to show. With the Icelandic bankruptcy in mind I think they allready are, delebs..
