Those online youtube downloaders come and go quite frequently. Trying to stay one step ahead of youtube and copyright cops.

third party clients aren't working. I don't know what Amp3.cc is, sounds like a website. If so that would explain how it can be working. The Reddit thread about something called yt-dlp says the changes Google made are so massive you need a full JavaScript environment to do the programming to get around it.

If Amp3.cc is a website, that would explain it, since browsers of course have a full JavaScript environment. Desktop apps don't unless you have installed one and it integrates with your client. That is what yt-dlp is doing. Adding in a JavaScript runtime like Deno. This sounds like Linux stuff. yt-dlp is some command line client for downloading.

The desktop app I use, 4k Video Downloader+, posted this:

4K Video Downloader has an update, people were unable to install it successfully from the app itself, but could from the web site. I tried it, it crashed when I tried to extract mp3's from a playlist. I ran it again and it worked. Seems patches are being rushed out.
