Re: LazyTown Forever
"Some clips I had to get creative with to make work"Hi, thanks for your interest in the project.
In terms of what songs are sampled or referenced (musically), the list goes, in order of appearance: Welcome To LazyTown, Bing Bang, Cooking by the Book, New Games Everyday, We Are Number One, Teamwork, Have You Ever, Master of Disguise, Galaxy, Techno Generation, Allt í Lagi í Latabæ. There are other songs directly referenced lyrically, and some other small vocal samples pulled from songs, but I don't necessarily count those.
Regarding the video, it had the same premise as the song - create something that represents the heart and soul of LazyTown. I had some ideas in mind for particular clips I wanted to use, but there was still plenty of space to fill. I researched by watching the series front-to-back and making notes for clips that I thought would be good to represent LazyTown and a good fit for the look-and-feel of the video. Some clips I had to get creative with to make work, but I am very happy with the result.

Re: LazyTown Forever
Is there a list of when parts of songs from other LazyTown songs are used? I recognized the ending as the end song from GGIL, 'Master of Disguise' during the Robbie interlude, and 'Teamwork' at 1:48 but not much else.- Translate

Re: LazyTown Forever
I love this song and everything and everyone it celebrates! Stingy, how did you decide what LazyTown clips to sample and from which episodes, like the Robbie interlude from First Day of Summer/Little Pink Riding Hood?- Translate

Re: LazyTown Forever
I wish I knew about the project earlier. Back then, I was kind of new to the community and I didn't know about it. When I actually learned about it, I was late by a few days and submissions were already over.

Re: LazyTown Forever
Time and age have been eroding my hair for several years, if that's what you mean ;)
The position of the ceiling light makes it look worse than it is lol
Haha I understand your point, but I'm not sure if the lyrics to LazyTown Forever are on the same level as those other songs. The point of the video is more of what I had in mind while making the song. If you or anyone interprets something else, that's great and your feelings are as valid as mine.Haven't watched the video at the time of making this post, but aren't some songs just best left to interpretation? Like American Pie and Bohemian Rhapsody? Nobody knows the meaning behind them, and people theorise about the lyrics of those songs all the time without a definitive breakdown of lyrics. Ignorance is bliss after all right?- Translate
