Nah man. If you don't want people knowing about what you look like or what sort of music you like, then don't add that information at all. It's simple.

I mainly use facebook to advertise my writing...but otherwise it's to tell people about stuff I like. I message people, sure, but no one bothers to reply unless I include a horrendous amount of chatspeak and mention Twilight somewhere...

LiveJournal is another one...does anyone use it? I do, but if I knew other people who did, I would do it more often. (If anyone wants my LJ, add straitjacket911).

I sometimes post writing there, but usually I post random things that happen and things I'm feeling.

I just revived it...going to start posting cool stuff now.

            Re: Myspace vs. Facebook

Oh come on, Myspace is pretty balls. Practically no one uses it any more, even bands have abandoned it.

The accounts I use most are Facebook, Livejournal and Tumblr. I've been a member of LJ since 2003 and made some of my best friends on there, but recently I've lost my passion for making entries and I mostly just go on it to check community updates. Tumblr is a very enjoyable way of sharing things like pictures and music and videos... I really like it. I don't like that lots of people use it for having conversations and stuff like that, because it just isn't designed for that sort of thing - come on, it doesn't even have a proper comment feature! So I don't think people should try to use it that way, but fair enough if they want to I guess. And Facebook is my place for keeping up with people really. And stalking obviously, I don't think there are many people on Facebook who haven't done their fair share of snooping around.

I've been playing Failbook's games because I get super bored...it's that time of year when there is very little homework and everyone's busy except me...

MySpace is a horribly designed website with a completely counter-intuitive interface and obnoxious userpages. It screams of 1990s web design.

Try using Facebook for a while and then go back to MySpace. It's just uncomfortable. MySpace feels like venturing down a dark alley in a seedy neighborhood... it is the ghetto of the Internet.

If you think Myspace is so bad, you should try High 5 ...

                    This needs a motivational poster.

I couldn't find the right words but it would be something like that. One thing I like is that you can 'pimp' your profile on myspace, it should be introduced to facebook. On the other hand it would make the site more slow with errors like it is today at some times. Facebook is good, don't have problems with the security settings.
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

                        Agreed on the pimping.

Well if anyone would like to add my LJ, hurr it is:

                        http://straitjacket911.livejournal.com/

Been updating it recently, same with Twitter...
New layout, too, not the unprofessional green crap that it used to be. I like this pre-made theme, it's pretty. :3

anyway, I decided to start Twitter again and use it properly so.

                          http://twitter.com/Wolf_Jay

I dont really know like... barely anyone who uses twitter in real life so I've never really got into it.

                                Re: Social networking sites

                                LJ is full of angst.

I created it in middle school, and you have to remember that the majority of that stuff was from that awkward stage.

I've had a rough month, so I've been posting angry and sad stuff that is reminiscent of that time period.

If you want to read anything mildly decent, I have two blogs on blogger.

                                Here is my writing blog:

                                http://thesammich.blogspot.com/

And here is the blog where I talk about my writing:

                                http://lamentofasammich.blogspot.com/

Haven't updated either in a while. I do believe it is high time for a new story. If anyone has any random idea, feel free to PM me with them here or tell me as a comment to the newest post of the second blog.
