    Ipod or MP3 Player

Who here owns an Ipod or an MP3 player?

    If you do, what kind?

I have a 30 gig Black Video Ipod!

Full of South Park Episodes, Early 1990's Zelda Cartoon and 10 gigs of music so far xD

My step-dad gave my 18 year old brother one for his birthday, and since he doesn't use it much/at all, I basically have use of it, but I would really like one of my own. My birthday is next month, so I have my fingers crossed.

i have an ipod. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

CJ...you can get battery back ups. i bought one. it's by MAXELL.

infact, i just went to the website for you:

          here's the link:

          http://www.maxell-usa.com/index.aspx?id=63;72;554;0

i live in Canada, but i went to the US site for you to make sure they had them.

however, if you aren't interested in that, there is a battery replacement program from APPLE for around $69. They replace the battery in the ipod (install it, etc) and then send it back to you.

However, i recommend just going and getting that maxell battery back up. it lasts for WEEKS. my ipod is used for Solitaire, music and shows and movies. I bought my maxell battery at a local music store.

check it out and you will likely love it :) It ran me about 20 bucks Canadian. Not sure how much for the US.

          good luck :)

30 GB 5th gen iPod here.

I use it mostly for music, but I typically load up new South Parks on it to watch in the mornings. (I don't get Comedy Central, so I just have to download them the night they get released.)

I used to have a regular MP3 player, but I lost it at some point and bougt an Ipod nano to replace it. I only got the Ipod because of the shuffle function really, cause I'm always too lazy to put new music on it, and after a few weeks I'll know the order of the songs by heart which is really annoying.

I don't think I can use it to watch video but I'm not sure, I don't really care either way cause the screen is so small. The thing I liked about the regular MP3 player was that it doubled as a USB stick, and you can put music on them just as you would on a harddrive or cd-rom, whereas with an Ipod you need the cable that came with it and special software like Itunes or a winamp plugin.

Yep! That's the beauty of most of these players. My friend has an 80 gig video ipod that he just uses as a backup harddrive for the most part, and threw a little music on there xD

I have an Ipod. I had 2 other (crappy) mp3 players before that, but I think I broke both because I could not figure out how to use them.

I have an MP3 player, but I rarely use it - mostly just for the microphone in it.
