guys, thanks a lot for all those messages.
i have an appointment on tuesday with a specialist. hopefully it will go well. i haven't been scared like this before, it's sorta odd. it's amazing how much you appreciate the little things in life when you are faced with uncertainty.
*hugs* to you all.
and CJ...send me those tiles ;)Some dreams do come true.- Translate

hey guys...
i wanted you to know i go to the specialist to get my results tomorrow.
if they find nothing with these tests, then it's on to the next step...whatever that may be.
i have to say, i am emotionally exhausted. my life isn't what it used to be. i miss being able to make the simplest of plans, and now i can't do that. my days consist of almost constant nausea, (and other things that go with feeling sick), headaches, tingling in my limbs, dizziness or vertigo. A person feels like they may go mad when they can't see a light at the end of the tunnel...and that's where i am right now. I feel broken.
being on this board and having a good laugh each day does help a bit, so thank you all. i truly care about a lot of you and hope your weekend goes well.
if you believe in the Lord, please say a prayer for me and ask that the doctors find what is wrong and that my health be restored. i find it hard to pray. i guess mostly because i think of all the other people who are dying in this world, or the children who are starving and i feel God doesn't have time to listen to me. But maybe he'll listen to you? who knows. Some dreams do come true.- Translate

Don't know what it is but all the best. :(
I'm no stranger to health issues. I had a Parotid gland tumor a few
years back. The surgery left the lower half of my right face numb. It was benign though. Then a gallbladder that went dead on me. The doctor in hospital said if I had waited one more day before going in I would be dead. The nurse said, right before the surgery with that, "You men are impossible. Always waiting for the last minute." :)- Translate

I hope you'll get good news LTgirl. When you're feeling down don't forget you always have people that care about you that you can talk to.

hey all..
well, apparently i have nerve damage. Guess where? my brain! yep. my nerves (nerve endings) are not responding how they should and sending mixed messages to my body. so that explains why i feel sick all the time, why i have tingling limbs and a weird feeling in my feet. It explains the constant dizziness, too.
the damage was brought on by constant and severe stress from a couple of events that happened to me roughly over 3 years ago and my body reacted with a post traumatic stress sorta thing.
now i have to take meds to correct the damage and calm my nerves...literally.
i am scared to take medicine though. i hate to. it scares me. it's the side effects mostly. i know...i am chicken.
thanks for all your well wishes.
you guys are so awesome :)Some dreams do come true.- Translate

I'm afraid of meds too. Even more so, since a friend told me the story about how his doctor almost prescribed him a combination of pills that would have killed him.
But that doctor was a quackjob. Take your meds, and hopefully they'll help. If something goes wrong, there's always the lawsuit!
Best of luck, and I hope everything works out for you.I seriously need a new sig. Will try Photoshop later.- Translate
