Spammers

Guys, I am sure you've noticed the vast number of spammers who have visited the forum recently. Obvioiusly it is only a minor problem, but doubled with the annoyances of Rainbow Stephanie, Spenzzcer, etc, I think it is quite a loss to the forum on our part as mods.

So from here, a few options.

a) Do absolutely nothing - What we are pretty much doing now, save for the deleting of threads and such.

b) Improve Moderator Capabilities - because If I'm the only person on and he get hit by hordes of spam, there is basically nothing I can do, other than deleting threads. Though I'm unsure of how much can be done in this area.

c) Prevent users from registering multiple accounts - I suggested this to Xizer already, and I don't see the harm it could do. Offenders could be punished with a suspension or ban or what-have-you.

d) Make GetLazy exclusive - Now I know the admins' viewpoint in this area and I agree with them and would never want such a thing to happen. But this last resort may become necessary if the problem continues.

I might come across here as very pedantic, but this is a problem that we all should address.

Also, I think it is our responsible duty to deal with Rainbow Stephanie. We could easily have him banned on multiple charges of flaming.

I'm gonna be straight up with you here, and I'm saying this as someone who likes having you around.

You need to stop just posting "Julianna Rose Mauriello" every post, or just randomly in threads were it's not needed. We all know her name, what her role on the show is, and how much you like her. We know; we've been told a thousand times. We remember.

Its irritating because we have to see it 10 times a day when we already know it. Imagine if your mom told you 10 times per day the same thing. You'd get sick of it, wouldn't you? I know I would.

I hope you understand what I have to say, and please don't think I'm being mean or yelling at you, because I'm not. I just want you to understand why people get sick of your posts and say things about you.
