Re: Calendar - who's getting it?
Originally posted by chuftSpeaking of which, since Lazytown DVDs are still available (and still being created it appears) in the U.K. does anyone know how to get a PAL DVD from Region 2 to play on a U.S. computer DVD drive? I just read this:
"As a further aside, if you have a Region 1 DVD player you in all likelihood cannot play PAL DVDs both for reasons of Region locking and because the great majority of Region 1 DVD players have had their PAL playback ability disabled, not to mention the fact that most NTSC display devices cannot display PAL images. So I would assume PAL format on the DVD is not a problem with this software?
I wonder how it works.
Might have to get that LazyTown Karaoke DVD....WWJD

Originally posted by chuftWhat I am really wondering about is PAL's aspect ratio. I know it has a higher vertical resolution than NTSC - is the resulting picture still 4:3 in aspect ratio somehow?Comment
