Yeah saw those Rick Beato videos.
You reach a point where everything ends up being the same.
Movies have gotten like too.
Yeah that HIV virus and subsequent disease took a lot of people.
Meanwhile earlier in time I loved this song. From that late 70's/early 80's period when the 80's sound was just getting going. Era of Gary Numan, Blondie, Go-Go's etc.
If I remember correctly this was the first video played when MTV launched. Man I loved that channel back then, it was amazing.
rather hesitant about that but the Drama album is quite good.

Every decade has some good music you can listen too. I like the 70s/80s disco, the upcoming electronic music from the 80s, the happy hardcore from the 90s and the mix of all that in the 00s and 10s but more mature. My head only wants to listen to electronic music, and I usually don't listen to classical, rock, general pop, unless it's on the radio in the background. Kraftwerk, Art of Noise is great electronic music from the days.
Pure electronic music from the 80s:
Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.Comment

Ha I had that album on vinyl. Loved Magnetic Fields IV. 1:08:25 on that video. It is much better than the studio version, with the synth improvising.
Had Oxygene and Equinox albums by Jarre as well.
Had the first Kraftwerk album and some Tangerine Dream like Rubycon. Also every Tomita album. Didn't care for Klaus Schultz.l i t t l e s t e p h e r sComment

My real loves though were Gary Numan and John Foxx for synths with vocals. Also with bass and sometimes guitar thrown in.
Synth solo starting about 2:05
A classic from Numan
More of that lovely Polymoog sound
A much more recent effort with the sort of synth crescendo that thrills me. Wait for it (it's at 4:20 but the lead up lends it power)

Can't resist linking this one, another one where the synth takes off. Great lyrics too.
I am the final silence.
The last electrician alive.
And they called me 'The Sparkle'.
I was the best, I worked them all.
New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.
We opened doors by thinking.
We went to sleep by dialing 'O'.
We drove to work by proxy.
I plugged my wife in, just for show.
New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.
So I press 'C' for 'comfort'.
I dream of wires, the old days.
New ways, new ways.
I dream of wires.

Same here. When they ended up joining Yes because of the infighting and Jon Anderson said enough and left for a while, I was
rather hesitant about that but the Drama album is quite good.

Great video, thx for sharing! I'm definitely not a music expert, I just listen to lots of it, so it's all pretty advanced to me lol.
It's hypocritical for me to say this (since I'm not a music expert), but I think a lot of mainstream artists can't live up to there fullest potential because of the industry. The industry just wants to make music that follows trends to have a guaranteed payday, not music that the artists in question want to make and are capable of making. The sad thing is that the artists have their hands tied; do whatever the boss wants, or loose the opportunity of a lifetime.
P.s good music bro, keep up the sharingComment
