Just found out this is the guy who wrote and recorded "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" which was later covered by Cyndi Lauper. Always thought it was her song.

chuft I thought it was her's too. Damn.

I've been watching documentaries recently about bands and didn't come across that one yet.
Going to have to make note of earlier versions that later artists made into a big hit.
I don't remember them off hand the ones I've come across.

Omg as soon as that video ended it went right to "33 Songs You Didn't Know Were Covers (Part 1)"

Who let the dogs out is one of them. I saw that the other day about that song too. Ugh.

Self Control by Laura Branigan is a cover of Raf's Self Control.

Some metal album recommendations. I've avoided recommending albums that everyone knows about (some more well known then others).

                          2:56
"The vulture sits on top of the big top circus arena
He's seen this show before knows someone is going to fall
Just near the part where the beautiful dancing tightrope ballerina
Forgets that the safety net isn't there at all
Down he swoops with claws drawn to take her

Razor sharp so savagely is she mauled
Oh my God, is there no one who can save her?
In steps the fox to thunderous applause"

Always intended to make a ytmnd on those lyrics.
Instead using Steph based on the Lazytown Circus episode.

Windows 7 turned me off because it didn't have the Stereo Mix feature of XP where you could capture any and all sounds going through the sound chip. Microsoft removed it because you could use it to capture music from streaming services and save it.
