The path of totality in North America begins in Mexico and ends in Main. Along its path, for example, totality begins at 1:40 pm CDT in Texas (Dallas). In Southern Indiana, totality begins around 2:02 p.m. CDT (Evansville). In Maine, totality begins around 3:32 pm EDT (Caribou). The eclipse will last for approximately four minutes and 28 seconds, making it one of the longest total solar eclipses of the 21st century.
