We lost a 8&16bit chip music legend
Geoff Follin (58). "succumbed to pancreatic cancer earlier this week – he was only diagnosed on the 7th of May."
The information came from his younger brother Tim Follin who also composes music.
Created those classic Nintendo and SNES soundtracks. To name a few.
This was epic

I don't understand why they even needed to add reverb

Oh she was a real singer all right. No autotune back then. But I like the reverb. It gives that album a certain sound, maybe I am just used to it from listening to it all these decades, but I have always liked that kind of echoey haunted sound.
What an album that was.
They had two guitarists, which is strange because they never had a heavy guitar sound.

What I liked about that show is that it was pretty
raw and no lip synching. Notice there's no reverb on her voice here.
The show stated getting ridiculous with those dance
numbers though. Didn't last much longer after '79.
They tried to become the midnight version of
American Bandstand. Bleh. I vaguely remembered
it was the beginning of 80s. I was thinking 1980 itself.
I looked it up 1981 the show was cancelled.

That song was from Parallel Lines.
I never saw that show nor American Bandstand. I don't think I ever saw a music video until MTV came on in 1981. They played new wave all the time, it was amazing those first few years. It was the one great thing about coming home from school on school breaks, was getting to watch MTV.l i t t l e s t e p h e r sComment

Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.Comment
