It's listed as "Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner"
but it seems it's the only youtube channel that has it.

This one seems fine for embedding

although I personally identify more with hardcore music, I have a strange affinity for beat music from the 60s...especially this song has captivated me...note the female drummer (Honey Lantree)... that was quite rare at the time

Are you familiar with The Primitives? 80's band heavily influenced by 60s beat. Jangly guitars etc.

            Lots of great material.

the Primitives' "Crash" is not unfamiliar to me...it's a great song...the band's heyday coincided with a time when I was deeply into punk...however, they sounded too "well-behaved" for my taste at the time, so they were only a side note for me...the voice reminds me a lot of "The Darling Buds"

The early Primitives was rougher around the edges, more 60's garage band than beat. Not punk, but less polished. Distortion as well as snarky lyrics.

real hard stuff...I like it...seems to have passed me by...keep in mind that I lived on the other side of the wall, and my only source at the time was a small British military radio station (BFBS) on FM and some German-speaking stations from Berlin (West), which mostly offered mainstream music...

The overdriven guitars remind me a little of this song from "The Jesus and Mary Chain"

                      Always liked this one.

Note the drum falling over at 4:27. Also the glimpses of the girl with the Steph haircut.

Interesting. Yeah British music like the Primitives was not easily available here either actually. Some stuff you might see on MTV, but mostly it was a matter of buying records in the record store (the really good ones had British imports) with no idea of what they would sound like. You would often go by whether you liked the cover art or not. When possible if you found an artist you liked you would look for their name in other bands to find similar stuff.

There was one radio station in Los Angeles, KROQ, that would play British stuff. Sometimes other stations in other places like Philadelphia would syndicate or whatever it's called their shows where they would broadcast them locally. When I moved to Los Angeles and could listen to it all the time, I found lots of great music I otherwise would have missed, like The Primitives. I used to tape the shows. I remember hearing the early version of Thru the Flowers that way.

Note despite the wrong album cover this is very different from the later version I posted several posts up.

There was one DJ at KROQ that discovered a lot of 80s bands and played their stuff on the air for the first time. Rodney Bingenheimer, "Rodney on the ROQ".

"He has been described as the first DJ to play many up-and-coming bands, including the Runaways, Blondie, the Ramones, the Pandoras, the Hollywood Squares, Social Distortion, Van Halen, Duran Duran, Oasis, the Donnas, No Doubt, Dramarama, the Offspring, the Go-Go's, Germs, the B-52's, X, Sex Pistols, Teenage Fanclub, the Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and others."

Pretty sure he also was the first to play Talking Heads and Oingo Boingo.

Some good dancing by Kate Bush. Turn it up, all the videos of this song have low volume for some reason.

Yeah she looks gorgeous with that 80's feathered hair.

It's really annoying how YouTube keeps putting distracting suggestions at the top and plastering pictures of other videos near the end. Really wish there was a way to block that other than downloading the video and watching it locally.

I don't know if it's just me but an embedded video's audio is amplified.
I always have to turn down the volume. Weird. Not complaining because
it's perfect for those low audio uploads.

That video is much louder than the Kate Bush one.
