Weird. Tom Bailey's followup project to The Thompson Twins. I vaguely recall them but not this song.

Yeah, the drummer from the 80s had left. They delved into more experimental music in the 90s.

It's weird how his early stuff was so great, then his middle stuff was garbage, then his later stuff was really amazing. There are like 4 albums' worth of crap I won't go near but love everything before and after them.


The Primitives' Follow the Sun Down reminded me of this song, which also has "Careful what you wish for" in the lyrics. The lyrics are critical to the song so I found a video with the lyrics on the screen. Such a creepy song.
