Money that doesn't even exist. Giving the illusion it does. Scamming stock holders and jacking up energy prices for everyone.

Stuff like this is really making me lose my fear of AI taking the world. It's unreliable and messy at times

"YouTube offers voluntary buyouts as company reorganizes around AI"

Youtube is offering voluntary buyouts with severance for U.S.-based employees as it restructures its product organization to focus more on artificial intelligence.

The move comes as Google CEO Sundar Pichai pushes employees to boost productivity by using AI across the company.

In an internal memo to staff, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan said the platform is reorganizing its product teams for the first time in a decade.

β€œLooking to the future, the next frontier for YouTube is AI,” a YouTube spokesperson said in a statement to CNBC. The buyouts were first reported by Alex Heath at Sources.

YouTube said no roles are being eliminated as part of the change.

Under the new structure, three product groups will now report directly to Mohan.

Amazon is laying off thousands of corporate workers in an effort to slim down while it spends big on the AI race.

In a note on Tuesday, Amazon human-resources executive Beth Galetti said the tech giant would cut about 14,000 corporate jobs, or about 4% of its workforce.

And so it begins: AI's labor market squeeze tightens

Unfortunately I read articles like these every day. Meanwhile first Amazon Web Services (AWS), and then Azure (Microsoft Cloud) have major outages due no doubt to their crappy AI programming.
