Seems there's just one music video just edited down: "'Girls on Film' was released on 12 July 1981. The original concept for the video, directed by Godley & Creme, was initially banned by the BBC and heavily edited for its debut on MTV due to its provocative and sexually suggestive content"
The two also directed this
They also directed all of Frankie Goes to Hollywood music videos
Music video for Duran Duran's View to a Kill
A bunch of Police music videos
Also this
They were quite the busy pair in the 80s- Translate

I had no idea they even had 5 channels, or were still on the air. I gave up on them decades ago when they dropped videos to do gameshows and crap like that. Not that any modern music is worth hearing IMO. Now I wonder if the 80's one was any good.
Since everything is on youtube anyway, a video channel is kind of obsolete.l i t t l e

Godley & Creme - An Englishman In New York
Sting - An Englishman In New York
When I was watching that video about the Yes Leave it music video,
the narrator brought up about a Godley & Creme song An Englishman In New York.
I didn't even know they had a song with that title.
The only one I was well familiar with was the Sting song with the same title.
Meant to address this the other day. Just out of a curiosity.
Lyrics are different so it's not a remake. Sting's song is far superior.
