It was 2004 when I moved. Before then I watched Nick Jr all the time, and I watched a lot when I moved so I'm guessing it was 2004 when I first got into it. I would've been 6. I still liked it up until this point, it's only now that I'm re watching it and loving it again like when I was young. My brother and sister thought the puppets were creepy though.
