What the hell is wrong with the word fortnight? I've heard it many times in my lifetime.

It also sounds cooler than saying "two weeks."

Fortnight just sounds like the game "Fortnite". But I hate it and don't play it.

What the hell do you do for a living?

Worked at a bakery for... pushing 5 years now. Went from customer service slave, to dishwasher, and now I've become a baker. $12/hr, not exactly glory work, but omg it feels nice to actually be useful and not get yelled at by customers all day. Wageslaves, represent!
