I usually do the low level format with G-partition. I like
disconnecting all drives that have anything on them I don't want
to mess up and just have the drive I'm targeting for a low level clean.
I had disconnected the drive thinking I was going to do that but I just
went and did the Windows installer format and partition. I figured let me do all the
testing as well for the stability. So I just connected it back when I was absolutely
ready for it.
That's what I thought I was going to have to do. But no all the games came up PLAY except for GTA V and that
was just to install the front end launcher.
I haven't touched No Man's Sky yet until now for the screen shots and launching the game

I click on play I get the standard next window and it went into the game just fine.
And I played for a little bit.

There's no entry in Add or Remove Programs nor the desktop shortcuts.
Though looks like I can add the desktop shortcuts manually

Red Dead Redemption plays fine as well.
