As some of you may remember I was working on a 3d model of the Spotacus' airship. I had stopped for a while because I couldn't get that middle striping detail right and just got disgusted with myself. Well a few weeks ago I got the hankering to get back to it and that maybe the break is what I needed and it paid off. I've done that panel and the rotor section and a good portion of the gondola.

Thanks. Alot it has to do with all the recent acquisitions of quality episodes which I've been viewing over and over to get a good idea of all the proportions and postions in and out of the gondola. They keep switching things around and changing details but I'm going to do a composite of them and what I think would work best.
Those are just reference objects so I get an idea where the ports go.

Because that can be arranged...
I've seen the screenies though awesome quality wouldn't mind some of those but it's not really needed for doing the model. Well although for the textures it might come in handy.Comment

Re: Airship and more
Roughly six hours worth of work meshing around. Mostly trial and error but the front part of the gondola and glass are looking pretty dang good now.

Re: Airship and more
Been busy working on the internal scale. I think that pretty much looks close. Don't worry about that drop ship it's just temporary. I'll probably start on making the real thing in a bit before I decide on the scaling.

Coming along really nicely. :) I like the angle with the shadows. There's someone standing there in the distance!

Excuse me, I seem to have misplaced my shin bone. Would you help me look for it?
Thanks.
Shadows, shadows in the dark.....
Yeah, I deleted it by mistake. I could have re-imported the model but the shin is not required in this case. :)
Edit: Eh decided to show yas an underneath shot
