Phew took me about two weeks to do the Mail Box a lot of work. I took my time on it as well and put a lot of detail into it especially the textures and the yellow rubber handle. Still need to give it the drunken elf look and the two springs that go in the gears. Looks pretty good if I don't say so myself :)

Have a few more houses to finish up to complete the mayor's/stephanie's block once I do that I'm going to start working on city hall. I can't wait looks like it's going to be a very fun building to replicate.

A most productive weekend. I also got around to figuring on how to do transparent texturing.

I decide to pay this thread a visit a few months later and I see these pics. Bravo, sir, bravo.

Thanks still not happy with the way the grass looks so I'm going to redo it. I grew something else instead in the meantime

Turns out there was a bug with 3dsmax not rendering shadows on the grass but luckily they just recently came out with a service pack and all is well again
what a time killer that was spent two weeks trying to figure out what was wrong.
