Finally starting getting back to my 3d work after the new computer upgrade. The first thing I did was rework the airship rib cage again I just didn't like it and it was a good way for me to get acquainted with 3ds max 2010.
New structure
Old Structure
Don't see much of a difference off hand on a quick look but if you look at the cage intersections they are much more smoother and almost look like a single constructed cage. What is not obvious is what's behind the hull.

As you can see the new structure is a vast improvement and more professional looking metal girders. I used splines this time for the horizontal lattice work which I can tweak until my heats content while maintaining a smooth shape. Here's a little sample on the power of splines. Wish I had used them from the beginning but it's never too late. I'll be using the splines to make a much more precise reproduction on the gondola as well.

I mainly used that tutorial to get me started on what the options were for splines.
If a game is made, I'd love it to come out on the DS, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Wii got exclusivity as the console requires you to be so active.
Also, like you said, there not the cheapest of things! In this recession I could probably only afford a remote!
From what I remember they claimed there were going to be games for both the DS and Wii, but obviously since we haven't heard anything more we can't assume anything.
I don't/can't want/afford a Wii anyway, so I hope it's definitely on the DS. If it's going to happen.
A Sportacus racer game like Star Wars Podracer would be pretty cool.
Nononononono.....here is something that I have actually though about..... check it.
LazyTown is releasing a videogame for the Nintendo Wii right?
Right. So that means Nintendo will have some licensing deals with LazyTown Entertainment.
Now what I would DIE to have, is for Sportacus to be a character in an upcoming release of Super Smash Brothers.
Oooooooh snap! Do you need to clean up cuz I know that shit blew yo mind!
