Interesting thing to say...if aliens have indeed come to Earth, and the US goverment is hiding this fact (and some aliens in test-labs while they'r at it lol), chances are that most other western gouverments will do the same. That would mean that the BMP are eager to send the captured aliens home...and since they had no intention of staying (unlike earth-aliens), then the aliens would love the BMP.
That would be the weirdest thing :itisamystery:
The aliens would be thankful as the photos show the aliens being mistreated.

Some might prefer it on Earth though, maybe they're refugees from a much worse planet.

If they can breathe the air and eat our food (or us lol), they would like it here, I think.

        1 planet = 1 type of life.

So - another planet = another type... Often :)

Also I think - our planet given only for us... Like others :)

True, it's unlikely that any species would prefer another planet to their own, we've all sort of evolved to our surroundings.

          But who knows?

            Re: Aliens

I was wondering what you meant by "Aliens". For some, that includes the flying saucers. As far as other life in the Universe, we only have one data point on how life evolves. That's us. Science works with getting lots of data and then trying to make sense of it. It's possible life evolved differently on other planets, if there is life out there.

If there is life out, it's possible those planets were destroyed by a supernova. It's also possible we're the only ones with any kind of life since the other planets were destroyed by the dangerous things in the Universe.

I've been learning about informal logical fallacies lately, and the argument about why the "US government was so eager to silence the man who hacked into the pentagon in search of evidence of aliens" is an argument from ignorance. Which is basically saying, "I don't know, therefore it is aliens." You can replace "aliens" with pretty much anything. For example: "I don't know what caused BoredJedi's snow storm, he must be a witch because he loves the snow!" Admittedly, that's the kind of logic I still have to fight within me. Not sure why I think like that, but it didn't help when I was a believer in all things paranormal. Sources for that fallacy:

            http://anonym.to/?http://www.theskeptic ... acies.aspx [Ad ignorantiam]
            http://anonym.to/?http://en.wikipedia.o ... nsequences

Back on topic. I would like to do a little digging on that, what are your sources for that hacking event? If what you say is true about the US government silencing the man, I'm going have to ask what you mean by "silence". That can be taken several ways to include buying a person or killing them. You say that the US goverment was eager to silence him because of his search for alien evidence. What if he had found something that wasn't even about aliens, assuming he was able to hack in? What if it was information about national security? Going at that angle, what if it was a roster of active spies? Had he released that information, those spies would be dead as soon as they were found in the countries they were spying. However, this is all speculation on my part, similar to your argument. You can even say he found flight plans, and if that information was given to the public would allow certain evil-doers to do some evil with that information. Again, more wild speculation on my part, I have no evidence.

About the US government hiding things, you're assuming they're a well-oiled machine. As has been said before by Buzz, there are too many people to keep everyone quiet. The US government couldn't keep the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky scandal quiet. Richard Nixon got caught with a certain watery scandal that involved gates. However, as I mentioned before, they are able to hide certain information, but I assume they exist. Like a spy roster or flight information. On the other hand, I have no evidence for those claims, and it would do me well to do some research in that before I say more.

I would be interested in seeing your sources for that photographic evidence. I've been meaning to try out my research skills on something. Some questions to ask before that. Isn't it possible to fake photographs? I had more questions, but it involved the wrong subject like dust specks, and I would have to see what kind of photographs there are!

Real photographic evidence for the existence of UFOs does not exist. Not any more, that is...

Aliens and space is never a problem. It would requre infinite energy to move an object to the speed of light. The edge of visible universe is close to ~50bn ly away. You can't get there unless converting objects to energy and transform back when arrival. It would require technology in the energy itself. Most sci-fi movies have that idea about rising to higher plane - converting consciousness to energy itself, leaving the travel stuff behind.

The US have never created or posessed any advanced technology. Everything they have is manufactured in Europe, except from incest and some old mining rails :emo: (No offence Stingy - got it from FifthGear)

I think of it as a necessary evil. Humans probably won't totally **** each other up if left to their own devices- but I don't have enough faith in human nature to think a good chunk wouldn't try.

If to mutch capitalism leading private capital into fewer hands, competition between individual peoples are getting stronger. Many will strive to control the interpretative framework, as one of the eight sources to use power on others. As in the US many rich people also possess government in a way they can control this framework, and some tax lobbyism. Still they only do to make themselves happy, and give a **** in both society and peoples. If everyone had to pay progressive tax on each withdrawal from their bank accounts, then society might be mutch better, and disarm success thinking. This starts even at elementary schools, where they learn always success and best results should be practiced - for no meaningful reason. Good enough is ok too.

Inteligent aliens would be socialists ;)

No, I think communism is what have failed, not socialism. Communism feeds greed like capitaism. Socialism issues might be peoples staying home sleeping, because they actually don't need to work (social security pays). Norway and Sweden are good samples on socialism that works. Still they have some lazy-issues and light corruption. I think Russia is absorbing some of it theese days, where large governmental business operate in larger cities there - making jobs and education.

What's the difference between the two? I never really understood what separated them.
