Whoa, people are misunderstanding me. I'm not about to say that PCs control better than consoles, only that they control differently, which is a massive benefit in the cases of some games. Don't get me wrong here, I love my controllers and consoles, I just don't think they can handle everything, nor can PCs. (If only consoles would start to seriously support keyboard+mouse then all of our problems would be solved and I could quit upgrading. ;) )
Yeah, I think they're using it with Home, but I won't really count it as support unless games actually make use of it. (A good RTS game could instantly sell me the console if they used keyboard support, simply because I want that to become a standard.)
I don't know why so many people are strictly pc =/
Some of the games are fun, but it's just much better with a controller in your hand. Especially evident in this new generation of games coming out, The Wii Controller, SIXAXIS controller for ps3, etc. etc.
Sure the PCs have emulators, but it's not the saaaaame xD lol
I mostly like pc because of mods and that it's always advancing... in terms of technology and stuff. I prefer a mouse and keyboard too.
do you think Home will be good? I mean, it looks pretty much like Second Life, which was okay, but if they integrate it with the achievements and flexibility of other Xbox live features I think it will be alright.
Heck, my computer is kinda crappy, so i can barely run SL xD
I think Home looks awesome. It is pretty second life-ish, but they're pushing it as a sort of extension of your typical game lobby, which I think is a fantastic idea. I'm really hoping Sony will introduce Home achievements, sort of like Xbox Live achievements, but with the advantage of getting to show off cool items in your personal space. That'd be really nifty.
I like Xbox Live because it is reasonably priced ($50 a year! That is less than $5 a month... Too lazy to do actual math though). Xbox Live is also so easy to use, you can really just go PLAY the game with people and not waste too much time trying to find someone to play with. It is the best way to place console games online.
As for games, I know many people are going to disagree with this recommendation but I liked Perfect Dark Zero (and its cheap now too) as well as Ridge Racer. I know the "cool kids" are playing Gears of War but I didn't really like it.
