Well, I'd just like to know -- If you were going to introduce someone to LazyTown for the first time -- What episode would you give/recommend to them?

Nah, the first ep does give a little background but it's not the perfect episode to introduce someone to LT, I think. For one, Robbie's wonderful plan is a pit and involves no disguise.
I think most episodes should be fine, preferably one with all the characters in it and with an awesome song.
Happy Brush day, for example.sigpicComment

Well, the first episode I saw of LazyTown was Rottenbeard, so I'm inclined to show that episode off to others. That, and/or Crystal Caper. Even though there's no Robbie disguise, it's still a great well-rounded episode. :)Comment

I'd use Sportacus Who, personally.
It does a decent job introducing Sporty's trusting and helpful nature, Robbie's ridiculous plots, has the introductory 'Have You Never?' song without the bad plot of the first episode, and is cute all around. It also makes a point that the cast doesn't really hate Robbie, they just think he's a little misguided.I seriously need a new sig. Will try Photoshop later.Comment

'Cooking by the Book' is a good song, and Zafa loves it to bits, but...
We were just talking about it on TeamSpeak. Last night, I think it was. About how it's ironic that 'Cooking by the Book' is one of the best-known songs thanks to YTMND, but it's about cake. Sure, the song emphasizes following recipes and not hogging ingredients/adding random unhealthy crap, but that giant lollipop-planted cake runs contradictory to the show's emphasis on eating healthy things like sportscandy.I seriously need a new sig. I think I have to second the 'Rottenbeard' recommendation. I did a powerpoint presentation on Lazytown for an open topic public speaking assignment, and I included a snip of "you are a pirate", and at the end of the presentation the teacher was asking where she could see this show (after I'd already mentioned I couldn't see it legally because I don't have pay TV, she said she did and asked if I knew what channel).Comment

The first time I saw it, was with my friends, I recommended it to them cause it was so popular on ytmnd, so we watched it and thought it was hilarious.
No idea what episode we watch, I don't think it matters, cause we didn't pay attention to the story, we just couldn't stop laughing over Sportacus's flips. He was so badass.
The next day at school, my friend rushes up to us and says OMG that girl that plays Stephanie is like are age and not some 8 year old, I looked it up on wiki!
Rockband is awesome!Comment
