One thing I had noticed about the 80s is they did like to copy each other

Blind Vision always puts me in mind of another song just sped up

That was released following year after the Blancmange song

And they did love that clapping sound. So many pop acts from back then used it
including the vocal style and sound.

Yeah my friends in college did that song for an air band contest. The previous year we did this one

The leader of our group was gay so he liked these gay groups like Dead or Alive and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. I remember him approaching me to make friends because he liked the way I danced to 80's tunes at the campus disco.

Singer from Frankie died of AIDS. Sad.

We actually saw FGTH in concert now that I think back on it.

Meanwhile earlier in time I loved this song. From that late 70's/early 80's period when the 80's sound was just getting going. Era of Gary Numan, Blondie, Go-Go's etc.

If I remember correctly this was the first video played when MTV launched. Man I loved that channel back then, it was amazing.
