Sadly "Unsong" is not on Youtube but at least this song from the same album is.

Hmmm, can't seem to find anything on that song. Even on their wiki page.

      But

      Found it here. Live version.

Was this song just used for concerts?

Oh I went back one page and here's the entire album

Sadly it only seems to be a little sample. Love that song.

Voice uses muscles like any other physical activity, it's unfortunate but rarely if ever does a singer keep their voice as they age, especially since they strain it with concerts all their lives. Aging sucks.

Yup. Boggles my mind though that they know this yet still insist on going up there on stage. At least just lip synch. Maybe one day AI will be fast enough
where it would process the aged singing voice and rejuvenate it real time with only a few microseconds in lag.

Danny Elfman of Oingo Boingo stopped doing rock completely when he started losing his hearing due to live performances. He continued on as a composer of over 100 film soundtracks.

I wonder if anyone today makes songs about serious subjects like these. Stories of the human condition. I haven't heard any for a long long time.

I've complained about it before but it's 99% mediocre love/relationships nowadays.
                      Even the New Retro genre.
