Yeah, great thing they banned a few of my channels... VidLii or any other video streaming service will not rival YouTube for a while... Though it would be a smart move for PornHub to make a SFW video streaming service like YT... At least then, you'd get ad revenue...

It's been my opinion for a while already. If someone could have a chance to act as a rival to Youtube, it would be them. They already have the brand recognition and a working website format/video player for it.

Yeah with the Adpocolypse 2 happening it wouldn't be a bad move, however I don't think there'd be that many good advertisers supporting the platform.

I'm going to a YouTube Study. Just received a personal invite from someone from Google, see what they have to tell us, I'm curious.

            Dates: 11 September 2019
            Length: 75 minutes
Location: In-person - Google Amsterdam office
Incentive: EUR 105 Perks Gift Code*

*Perks is our incentives distributor. Their online catalog includes gift cards from VISA and a variety of retailers in fashion, housewares, sporting goods, books and more. Please note that you'll only be compensated if you participated in the study.

If you have any questions about the study please let me know. We really hope to include you in this research.

I don't even live in the USA so why should I obey the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and/or other US laws? It's not the users problem. If Google just stop collecting personal information from everyone, that would solve it all.

The Rule applies to operators of commercial websites and online services (including mobile apps) directed to children under 13 that collect, use, or disclose personal information from children.
Foreign-based websites and online services must comply with COPPA if they are directed to children in the United States, or if they knowingly collect personal information from children in the U.S. The law’s definition of “operator” includes foreign-based websites and online services that are involved in commerce in the United States or its territories. As a related matter, U.S.-based sites and services that collect information from foreign children also are subject to COPPA.

You shouldn't have to, but are required to due to it being a US-based company.
