I don't know where it's coming from and that's what's driving me crazy. Then just randomly it comes back. No rhyme or reason to it.
I already did the VPN turn off too. The too much data transfer part could be it come to think of it.

I just checked the Laptop and the vids are back playing on the site. Yes it does it on the Windows 10 laptop too.

And just like that video playback without leaving the site is back on the desktop again. Haven't booted up the laptop yet just about to. To see if the videos
are still playing on the site there.

      Bummer.

At least you can watch the video when you're signed in.
I got this from time to time.

Magnús: - I have fans of all ages and I don't think it's weird when older people like LazyTown. LazyTown appeals to people for many different reasons: dancing, acrobatics, etc.

I give up. There's just simply no rhyme or reason.
Yes, the videos are playing in the thread.

I'm not very techish, so take this with a grain of salt because I could be completely wrong.

When you watch an embedded video YouTube can't tie it to your account, even if you're signed in on that browser. For example, if I watch an embed here it won't show up in my watch history. Youtube probably doesn't like this because they're trying to fight bots and crawlers, and because they want to be able to tie your viewing habits to an account which they can gather data on and serve targeted ads to. I bet they use an opaque logic system to block requests that seem even remotely suspicious. Most people are watching Youtube on an app or a signed in browser anyway, so Youtube isn't losing much by haphazardly blocking people watching videos like we do here.

Pooky and BJ both use VPNs and I think they encounter weird stuff because of that. I never have these issues. If I can't see a video it's either region locked or else is "mature" and wants me to sign in (as if that proves I'm mature).

Then again I don't log into Youtube or any other Google service.

Weirdly some videos have the "Autoplay" control and some don't. I just encountered one that did not and it had autoplay enabled and there was no way for me to turn it off. I knew because it launched into another video after the first one ended. In another tab I had a video with the Autoplay control so I could turn it on and off.

It seems to remove the Autoplay control if you go to Youtube via clicking one of the little preview links that show up when a video is finished, to watch one of the videos it puts there.

I have Urban VPN installed because it's free but I rarely use it. Only on websites with a region block and the last time that was more than a year ago for HBOmax. I don't see much region blocks on YouTube either, that last one was the first this year. I can't use VPN on the socials because most of the time I have to log in there (browser deletes history/cookies after closing) and it doesn't work well with VPN ip's. I'm mostly scared to get blocked and loose access of the account like I had one time my browser was infected. 😫 All the checks these social website do, what ip, what browser, location, device etc. I got these messages a lot even though I changed nothing.

Someone tried to log into your [whatever] account from a new location. If this is you, click the link below to continue.
