Ringu, when I first saw it. Scene where Reiko sees Sadako's reflection in the TV had me scared to look at a turned off TV for awhile. And the crawling out of the TV scene was creepy. It was so realistic without all the special filters like in the American version.

Carved, another asian horror, also had my entire quad freaked out. When the split-mouthed lady opens her mouth....

And the Eye(TO HELL WITH THE UP COMING REMAKE) and all of its ghosts. The man in the elevator makes me want to cry.

I saw The Shining when I was 5.

Nothing since has come close to scaring me.

I'm reading the book currently (haven't got that far into it yet, been too busy), I've heard the film's good. My friend's sort of freaked me out of watching it yet.

Event Horizon or Darkness Falls are the movies which freaked me out most. Just the concept of Event Horizon is enough to drive you insane. Darkness Falls gets easier the more you watch it and learn the scare tactics but I've never shit myself more watching a film than the first ten minutes of Darkness Falls.

I've seen Poltergeist about 3 times, but only up until the point where the hand comes out the TV.
Scares the hell outta me!
I'll never forget watching The Exorcist either

Everytime I hear someone say "Exorcism" or "Exorcist" on TV, I remember the snarling, and the swearing, and.......*faints*

I've seen "Avatar" in 3D view last weekend and I really freaked out...I actually don't like fantasy movies but...wow...never seen a movie like this in my whole life...
