It's not totally exact but it's close enough. Been working on the molding. Seems I didn't get the ceiling height completely right. There should be more spacing between the molding and the ceiling. Still looks pretty good though.
More lights! Don't worry about the roughness of the insides I'll be tweaking around with them shortly.
The rendering with mental ray takes a lot longer with the programs default render. The more lights added adds to the time as well. That top pic took 8 mins. The previous post without the back wall lights took 6 mins.
Just added another detail. The back dome light on the last porthole panel. Don't mind the window image on the back wall I haven't done any texturing on that and the mental ray renderer is reading it as reflective material
Thanks. That above image was just preliminary. After much search and coming across the right tutorial. I'm now able to create flat panel lighting and I stuck it behind the frosty glass. The above image was using an omni light.
I'm not quite there yet. I still gots to work on texturing and displacement mapping. Getting that detail on the gondola hull is going to be fun.
This image will show what I've had to contend with in getting the airship right. They keep changing things about it. The door is suppose to be in the center. But it's to only show the hull detailing.
