Just showing off some textures. I just spent the past few hours recreating the decals in photoshop. These are all made by me not taken from episode frames.





I added some reflection to it to give it that metalic look.

I reworked on the textures. I just didn't like the way they had come out. These look much better.

Most of the time while working out the tedious details you ask yourself why am I doing this and at times you just want to blow your brains out just out of sheer tediousness. But you keep at it and at it and you give it the test render in a realistic environment and then it becomes quite clear why you've put in all that detail work.



I made quite a few tweaks on the materials to at least come close if not match the real drop ship.

Been working on more of the material detailing among other stuff. The brushed metal gauges, the faceplate, the tubing behind the seat and the red cockpit.

I finally got around to doing the sportacus logo




Most of today I spent reworking the steering wheel. Looks pretty accurate to the actual one




Looks pretty snazy if you ask me. All that work seems to have paid off not to badly and I've learned a lot of new stuff along the way which is always good.

I'll use this post for any more updates on the painting. Took me 1 1/2 hours just to do that wing. Making sure everything is lined up nicely.




I got the stripes on the tail section and applied all the blue coloring to the other objects.



I had to recreate the tail rudder section. I had also redone the top fin section because the meshes were not symetrical enough for texturing and it was messing them up. But it's coming along very nicely.




I did overlook one thing in the above pic. The tail rudder is actually longer. I checked an episode with a good side shot to double check




And this pretty much takes care of the fin, rudder and wing texture detailing.
