The format change is definitely a thing. There are multiple tubes about using extensions to get the old format back. Like these.

Seems to be uneven when it is hitting people and even different browsers.

That's weird. That youtube video I posted won't let
    me view it

Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot
    This helps protect our community....
Huh? The link was working fine when I posted it since
I did check it after to make sure. I clicked it on it thinking
it would take me to the news segment but it took me to a NBC
one instead. The one I posted is CBS.

    Let me try that again

Edit: Yeah it's still doing it. I am logged in to my youtube account so I don't know what they are
    on about.

Let me try a non embedded link
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amThSEwAB1g

Okay that takes you right to the video. Wth is youtube doing.
They must be messing around again. Usually you'd get the uploader
doesn't allow embedded playback watch on youtube.

I was able to view your original video as well as this one, both embedded.

I have been getting a lot of that "prove you're not a bot" from Google lately, just from doing searches. Deleting the Google cookie seems to make it stop for awhile.

      confirm you're not a bot
Same message sometimes. I usually restart the browser - deletes cookies - and it continues fine after that.

This video has a tag on it

        "Altered or synthetic content

Sound or visuals were significantly edited or digitally generated."

        Never saw that before.

When you upload a video you're required to tell if your content is altered. That's why there is a label in that video, probably.

Click image for larger version Name:	altered-content.jpg Views:	0 Size:	55.5 KB ID:	201668

        Altered content

Do any of the following describe your content?
        - Makes a real person appear to say or do something they didn’t say or do
        - Alters footage of a real event or place
        - Generates a realistic-looking scene that didn’t actually occur

To follow YouTube’s policy, you’re required to tell us if your content is altered or synthetic and seems real. This includes realistic sounds or visuals made with AI or other tools. Selecting “Yes” adds a label to your content.

Youtube content creators too using AI for their preview images.
I can understand that part just one more time saving tool in that case.
But you can always tell. The other downside is that preview images
are beginning to look the same.

Yeah but I'm probably considered a dinosaur. A relic of the past at his point.

A lot of my software that I use is from between 2000 and 2010. Not sure about Win-21H2 OS, probably 10 years old. My browsers and IDM are the only ones up-to-update, afaik. the AI software is only from the last 2 years but I use those only for up-scaling pictures and video, sometimes for translating and trans-scripting or summarize large texts. But still you need to check if it's correct.

It's more satisfying when you create something yourself. That feeling you don't get when you let AI do all the work.

Exactly that. Funny enough I was going to write that too. It's not you making it.
You're just feeding data into a machine and having that do the work and creating.

Not sure if yas heard about the new Youtube feature. It's adding AI generated Spoke Languages
to your uploaded videos. I think pretty much every language. Can't wait for the old style 70s Kung Fu movie Engrish. 😄

So far, I've never had problems installing older software. The only issues I've run into
is with early 2000's and older Game installers that won't install at all because of 32/64bits OS.
Lucasarts is one of 'em. Get the window that pops up "this is a 16 bit installer and does not support 64 bits".
It's just the installer too the game will run fine if you can get it installed. Why that was done, I couldn't answer.

Yeah that's a problem sometimes, installing a 32bit software. Also I have problems with opening or saving files with the older software because the Win10 explorer is not compatible. It uses the WinXP or Win7 explorer interface. That is actually the only problem I have. Like Homesite 4.5 (2000) and PaintShopPro X (2005).

Still haven't figured out what is triggering it. It was working fine after a few days.
I had cleared out the cache and it worked. Then it came back and did the cache
again but that didn't work. Then one day it was working again without me doing anything.

Even logging in and back in here and youtube, still doesn't fix the issue.

It's very weird and driving me crazy.

I can't watch the video on the site. That stupid bot thing blocks me from doing that.
I have to watch on youtube. It comes and goes.

I don't say the problem is on your side but it usually triggers this when a lot of data was sent from your ip address. Like malware, shared ip address (wifi).
